The Sacred YES is for those who want to play a role in building a new kind of world. Builders, artists, visionaries, architects of change, and conscious leaders of all forms are invited to join us in activating a radiantly supportive energetic in their life and in their creations. Most simply, if you feel a tug and deep curiosity in reading about this container, it’s for you.

This container does lean into shamanic practices and some language of spirituality, such as the word soul. But more so, it is rooted in energetic principles which are not inherently spiritual, in the traditional sense. We work from the premise that all existence, all that it contains, is actually made of energy and that all beings are energetic beings. If you are turned off by the language of our website, then this container may not be for you.

Vibrational medicines are energetic technologies that work at the frequency level of reality, for the purpose of healing and illumination. If everything is energy at its truest level, then working at that level is the most efficient and undistorted approach to reality shifting and building. Common forms of vibrational medicines can include practices such as sound healing and music, mindful movement, reiki, plant medicines, ritual and ceremony.

One of the things that sets Casa Comadres apart is the advanced level of vibrational medicine work offered through the human portal of Kristin Cerda. Kristin modifies large energetic fields, pulls out or programs specific threads of information in spaces and in bodies, and she uses many different skills and gifts to consciously build architectures of light. During our container, special fields will be in place, to support potent work and rest both during study and ceremony, and during down times. Individual modifications and extractions will be offered during our desert retreat, to support personalized learning and alignment.

In our pre-retreat virtual gatherings, course materials and supportive offerings will open up deep multidimensional learning. We will set the intellectual and energetic foundations for the deeper experience of the in-person retreat. 

During our retreat, we will both learn and rest deeply. The retreat can be thought of as one big ceremony of activation and alignment. In the beauty of Gaia Villa, we will combine channeled transmission, group and personalized energy work, ceremony, practice sessions, coaching, and spaces for deep connection and contemplation. There will be silence, laughter, play, nourishment, reverence, and illumination.

We will be leaning into forms of vibrational medicines that can be highly expansive, even consciousness altering. Though we are people — and an organization — deeply steeped in plant medicine ceremony and practice, The Sacred YES will not involve entheogenic plant medicines. For the level of intellectual learning offered in this container, the ability to access the most subtle awarenesses of the self and energetic body is most supportive. This is best achieved by saving entheogens for other experiences.

If you are attending the retreat with a friend, collaborator, or beloved, and you both want to room together, we will very much try to make that happen. In most cases it should not be an issue, but theoretically there could be some situations where we cannot put two people together when requested because of the larger map of roommates.

Gaia Villa has several rooms on the ground floor, but there are a few locations on the ground floor — like the living room — where there are a few steps to navigate. The bathrooms are also not truly equipped to support major mobility challenges.

At Casa Comadres, we celebrate the entire spectrum of expression of gender and non-gender, and our truest wish is for people to feel comfortable in their accommodations. There can be a greater sense of relaxation and safety when we room with people who presumably share some level of our gender experience in the world. And, we acknowledge there are some assumptions we are making in grouping people together. 

In the process of preparing for the in-person retreat, you will receive a form asking questions designed to help with room placement, and that form will include questions around what gender ranges you feel most comfortable rooming with.
