Northeast LA Supper Club

Comadres is a supper club based in Northeast Los Angeles made up of a group of friends and neighbors who love to get together to cook, eat and swap spicy Latin recipes. Our menu is best described as a Northeast LA take on Mexico City fare, which basically means modern Mexican food made with seasonal, organic and local ingredients with plenty of twists and turns from other cultures.

We hope we inspire guests to seek out local, actual Mexican restaurants and maybe even go to Mexico.

We have six “chefs” cooking for you:
• Albert Pacheco is a food stylist for TV and movies and comes from a family of great cooks who have passed down their timeless El Paso Tex Mex classics to him.
• Jenn Merrick is a caterer and party-thrower extraordinaire and has whipped up some of her recipes on HGTV.
• Myrna Valdez is a restaurateur and owned a Mexican cafe in Utah before she moved to LA.
• Amy Hoffecker has experience in catering and food-styling and is our resident pastry chef.
• Tana March taught the world about how to pair beer with cheese, how to roast the perfect Thanksgiving turkey, and how to make pulpitas on
• Apryl Lundsten spent years apprenticing the fine art of mixology with her grandfather at his swanky Bay Area cocktail parties.
